A continuación, se ofrece el listado de los restantes grandes retos sociales así como la fecha de cierre de las convocatorias.

SECURE, CLEAN AND EFFICIENT ENERGY

Este reto social ha centrado su esfuerzo en efectuar un cambio en Europa hacia un sistema energético, más fiable, sostenible y competitivo con el fin de reducir la dependencia de los combustibles fósiles dada la escasez de recursos, los efectos del cambio climático y las necesidades mundiales en energía.

Las siguientes convocatorias cierran el 26 de marzo:

• LC-SC3-RES-32-2020: New test rig devices for accelerating ocean energy technology development
• LC-SC3-RES-37-2020: Combined clean biofuel production and phytoremediation solutions from contaminated lands worldwide

SMART, GREEN AND INTEGRATED TRANSPORT

El objetivo de este reto está centrado en alcanzar un sistema europeo de transporte más eficiente y eficaz en el uso de los recursos, que a su vez sea respetuoso con el medio ambiente y que funcione con seguridad.

• MG-3-5-2020: Next generation multifunctional and intelligent airframe and engine parts, with emphasis on manufacturing, maintenance and recycling
• MG-3-6-2020: Towards sustainable urban air mobility
• MG-3-7-2020: Improved Production and Maintenance Processes in Shipyards
• MG-3-8-2020: ‘First of a Kind’ solutions for sustainable transport and mobility: EU initiative for accelerating EU-wide market access, scale up and derisking
• MG-4-10-2020: Improving impact and broadening stakeholder engagement in support of transport research and innovation

En relación a las convocatorias de los pilares: SECURE SOCIETIES: PROTECTING FREEDOM AND SECURITY OF EUROPE AND ITS CITIZENS y HEALTH, DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE AND WELLBEING, no hay ninguna para este 2020.

Este último año del PM H2020 trae consigo un esfuerzo importante por parte de la CE en financiación a la I+D+I. Existe un gran abanico de ayudas para actuaciones en los diferentes retos sociales que postula Europa.
